When deciding on your first replica watch, the choice between Rolex and IWC can be quite a dilemma. This time, M+F factory introduces two Tribute to Mark XI models, one sporting a black nylon strap and the other featuring a military green nylon band. Both watches boast an Asia 2892 automatic movement. With a case diameter of 41mm, these replicas aren’t particularly large, measuring only 11mm in thickness. Consequently, they may not cater to collectors who prefer larger timepieces. However, for aficionados of military-inspired watches, both models warrant serious consideration. The vintage dial aesthetics and military-style nylon bands serve as significant selling points for this Tribute to Mark XI series.
Crafted from 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, the case exudes understated elegance. Despite its modest dimensions, the watch dial appears substantial, thanks to the thin bezel edge. The screw-down crown on the right side ensures superior water resistance. Upon closer inspection, the case reveals gracefully curved lugs, enhancing wearer comfort. The black dial features white Arabic numeral hour markers, with luminescent material adorning the markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9, offering excellent legibility in low-light conditions. Notably, the flat-top hour hand pays homage to the vintage Mark XI watch, adding a touch of authenticity.
The watch band, while predominantly nylon, incorporates genuine leather on the side that rests against the skin, delivering a luxurious feel and enhanced comfort. The IWC Tribute to Mark XI replica epitomizes timeless elegance and reliability, making it a must-have for enthusiasts of military-style pilot watches with a retro charm.
