Unfortunately, there are reports suggesting the virus may resurge in the winter, which is a distressing prospect considering the significant loss of life already experienced. Furthermore, the economic repercussions have been severe, particularly in the United States, leading to a ripple effect on the global economy.
Regarding my watch business, it has also taken a significant hit, with fewer orders coming in and slower shipping times. Previously, clients could expect to receive their watches within 7 business days, but now it may take 10 to 15 business days or even longer. This prolonged shipping time has deterred many potential customers, although some are willing to wait until the virus situation improves.
While the situation remains dire in other countries, China has managed to control the virus for several months. Consequently, factories are now releasing new models and accepting orders. I consider myself fortunate to be in China, where the government has created a conducive environment for businesses to operate. Despite the global chaos caused by the virus, our business continues to thrive.
One noteworthy release is the stainless steel Pilot watch from ZF, featuring a green face and brown leather strap.
